It’s the Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 17 and we still have one team keeping up the chase with Liverpool in the title race. That team is Leicester City and they are on that “Vardy Party”.

That was a rather mad week for FPL managers! A midweek round of fixtures means we’ve had 3 game weeks in the space of 10 days, with some teams rocketing up the table and some hearts being broken.

Man City only won once in that period. Man United beat both City and Spurs, while Danny Ings scored in all 3 matches! It’s back to normal for a couple of weeks now, before the true madness of Christmas. Which means four more GWs in the space of just 12 days.

This week holds plenty more promise for FPL managers. Vardy has now scored in 8 consecutive matches and they will welcome Norwich and their terrible defence to the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Liverpool have their final match in the Premier League before jetting off to play in the Club World Cup (don’t forget they have a blank in GW18), while Chelsea plays a struggling Bournemouth and Spurs travel to Wolves. There’s a lot to think about as we head into the busiest period of the season for FPL managers!
