The Blues and Reds could not secure their place in the next round and must now collect points on the final day of the Champions League group stages.

One fixture was blessed with many goals while the other only added a couple to the scoresheet. With that being said, both games ended with the points shared on the final night of Champions League football for the week.

Liverpool got hit with a tactical showpiece from Carlo Ancelotti, who almost became the first manager to beat Klopp at Anfield. Though the home side put in an extra shift and came to save the game, nearly taking all honours.

On the road to Spain where Chelsea needed only to hold on for another 10 minutes or so. A simple error cannot begin to describe what Kepa Arrizabalag did to allow the Spaniards’ second goal of the night.

It was all going so well for Frank and co, but then one player took the cape as the hero and the villain. But the manager can only proud of the outcome after all the shenanigans that went down in Spain.

The way things are looking for all the Premier League clubs, (barring one club) it looks as if only could make it all the way to the final while the others are just not looking better than the rest of the competitors across Europe.
