Chelsea called out by youth players for racists acts – When will it stop?
SAY NO TO RACISM! It’s that simple for us to get past this plaguing problem that has stood out above the wonderful football taking place. Once again it’s Chelsea involved in this particular problem.
This week Chelsea gets called out by former youth players for their wonted behaviour. Just last week the Serie A displayed their natural antics when Cagliari fans reverted to monkey chants (two times in six months) towards recently transferred, Romelu Lukaku.
The previous player to endure identical abuse from the same set of fans is now Everton striker, Moise Kean, who then played for Juventus at the time. Stepping up to the penalty spot for a chance to take the lead in the 72nd minute of their second encounter of the season, Lukaku succumbs to the usual and already stone age act of monkey sounds.
Firstly, who is more the monkey? The one receiving the abuse? Or the one pretending to be one, unable to invent something new to try to get under a player’s skin? Answer’s in the question right there.
Man… The ignorance is real and part of the reason they still stuck in a world where this takes place is that the Italian league still allows it. Included in this are some of the Italian players that do not protect their abused teammates.
Thankfully, the big Belgian put away his second for the season while collecting three points for his side on the night. Silence! When real men do their jobs.
