Ready, set, let’s go! It’s Saturday Matchday 2 of the English Premier League and already there’s been unspeakable drama and controversy. What can we expect from the second day of English events?

The Top Flight recently recapped the first weekend of the Premier League, where we already established how Man City and Liverpool are eager to go at it again for the Premier League title. Our second top-six battle in as many weeks comes in full steam ahead.

The next test for Pep and his City side comes to them in the shape of a Spurs team who had a satisfying transfer window. All for them to keep up with this specific fixture. Due to other events playing out against the grain, Matchday 2 promises to be even better than the opening weekend.

Saturday Matchday 2 fixture lineup

Arsenal vs. Burnley
Southampton vs. Liverpool
Brighton vs. West Ham
Everton vs. Watford
Norwich vs. Newcastle
Aston Villa vs. Bournemouth
Man City vs. Tottenham

A low of 27 goals was scored in the first try of club action  (thank you VAR for all the disallowed goals). This misleading count of goals needs to be beaten. To make this possible we must rally together in the hope there will be no stalemates.

Picking the best and predicting all of Saturday Matchday 2’s action, the first of the day is an already must not miss matchup.
