Watford 0-3 Brighton

Debutants: Neal Maupay (Brighton) and Craig Dawson (Watford)

  • Dazzling debut for the Frenchman. Significant impact off the bench and scored the third goal of the game.
  • The former West Brom man had a torrid evening. His partnership with Cathcart should be under scrutiny as both were slow and incapable of dealing with Brighton’s attacking trio. Need to step their game up.

Bournemouth 1-1 Sheffield United

Debutants: Dean Henderson, Mcburnie and Callum Robinson (Sheffield),

  • After signing a long-term contract at Old Trafford, Henderson had a solid debut in the Premier League. He had a rocky start but brilliantly denied Billing.
  • Robinson worked hard and created a few opportunities for himself from long-range efforts.
  • Mcburnie looked bright on his Blades’ debut. Dropped deep to get the ball, ran at defenders, and challenged them in the air.
  • Billing had a solid debut on the other end, tested Henderson on several occasions. Will be nailing his place soon into the first team.
