At Spurs, this role is currently executed by Dele Alli. Many tag Alli as the raumdeuter or an interpreter of space.

With Lo Celso taking up this responsibility, Alli can remain upfront to cause more havoc for the defenders or even set up delicious balls for Harry Kane and Co. Mauricio Pochettino is one of the most wanted managers in the world.

His fiery ideas have revolutionized the way Spurs play. There’s an old proverb “Fire refines Gold”. Pochettino will have a valuable asset in the form of Lo Celso. Lo Celso still needs refining; Pochettino can provide the right furnace.

If the deal goes through, all parties will be in a win-win position. Lo Celso will get a guide which will help him maximize his potential; his abilities will nurture better when he is surrounded by players like Kane, Son, and Lucas.
