Giovani Lo Celso is the gold. A player who has been recently excavated from the mines of PSG, grinded and scrubbed to shine at Real Betis.

Gold still requires final touches before it becomes one of the most attractive and good-looking elements.

Lo Celso is malleable and can fit into any system with minor adjustments. He has shown versatility throughout his career. He can play on either wing but since joining Betis he has essentially flourished in a more central role.

His adept passing and mercurial dribbling skills coupled with nippy decision-making skills make him one of the cleverest midfielders. Signing for Real Betis was a game-changer for Lo Celso, PSG didn’t make the right use of his talents and Betis were quick to pounce on the Argentine.

Under Quique Setien, Lo Celso was spectacular. Setien’s methods of playing the ball from the back suited Lo Celso. Lo Celso likes to drop deep and create space and then drive the ball towards opposition’s defence.

He has an eye for goal from long distance as well, so if he isn’t going to dribble past the defenders he is going to launch a rocket from his foot. An incredibly quick passer, often making passes with the blink of an eye, Lo Celso creates fine chances for his teammates as well.
