Top Pick

Jamie Vardy (FWD, 9.0m)

Who else!? The definition of a talisman, particularly since Mahrez left for Man City, Vardy is a force of nature. He is showing no signs of slowing down, and he still managed 18 goals despite the issues behind the scenes at the King Power Stadium last year.

Differential Pick

Youri Tielemans (MID, 6.5m)

Leicester bent over backwards this summer to make the signing of Tielemans permanent after he impressed on loan last year. He was an impressive fantasy asset as well, managing 3 goals and 6 assists in roughly one-third of a normal season! If he can keep that up for the whole year then 6.5m will be a steal.

Defensive Pick

Ben Chilwell (DEF, 5.5m)

Leicester’s defence has always been a bit leaky, especially with the combined speed of Maguire, Evans and Morgan at centre back! However, their wing-backs offer a lot more value and Chilwell could be the man this year. He is 0.5m cheaper than Pereira, he is less of a card magnet and given his youth I think he could continue to improve upon his 5 assists from last year, and maybe even add some goals!

Steer Clear

Kasper Schmeichel (GK, 5.0m)

Schmeichel is one of many keepers who fit in the awkward price bracket of 5.0m. Too expensive for a rotation but not good enough to be your choice every week. With Schmeichel and most goalkeepers at that price (watch Leno just in case Arsenal’s defence miraculously pick up), you’re better off spending the extra 0.5 for Kepa/Pickford/Lloris.
