The signs towards the end of last season under Rodgers were very promising.

Vardy was back in the fold and was kept well supplied by the midfield trio of Tielemans, Maddison and Albrighton. I will be fascinated to see how they get on in Rodgers’ first full season back in the Premier League.

It doesn’t start too well for Leicester and it gets worse before it gets better. There’s a lot of love out there for Pereira, Maddison and Tielemans, but maybe they’re another group we should consider after fixtures clear up. Vardy could be the only exception as we all know he can ruin anyone’s day!
