Top Pick

David Luiz (DEF, 6.0m)

The Brazilian centre back is your best option at Stamford Bridge. He regularly chips in with bonus points and can pick up the occasional goal/assist. Plus Chelsea did actually keep 16 clean sheets last season!

Differential Pick

Ross Barkley (6.0m)

It’s a tough one to call given the sparsity of options, but if ever there was a season for Barkley to step up and show us the player he can be, it’s now. He has an opportunity to learn from one of England’s best midfielders of recent years and will have less competition for his place as they cannot sign anyone new.

Steer Clear

Olivier Giroud (FWD, 7.0m)

Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe it will be a banner year for the French target man and he will be the first striker in everyone’s team. But… When he was the main striker at Arsenal his best goal tally was 16.

He has lost his main partner in Hazard and he isn’t getting any younger. I’m guessing Frank will bring Batshuayi and Abraham into the fold and give them their big chance.
