These 2 are the top of ALL players for these metrics!

Top Pick

Mohamed Salah (MID, 12.5m)

Mane was close behind last year, and given the price differential last season he was a better option. But with just 1.0m between them and Salah topping the points charts for the second year in a row, I can’t see past the Egyptian winger as the number 1 priority for my team!

Differential Pick

Oxlade-Chamberlain (MID, 6.5m)

This falls firmly under the category of ‘massive punt’, but I have a good feeling about the Ox this year. His star was on the rise after his move to Anfield before that disastrous injury, but now he is back with a point to prove. Liverpool needs more goals from midfield and he could be the man to provide them!

Defensive Pick

Andrew Robertson (DEF, 7.0m)

It’s a tough call between Robertson/Van Dijk/Alexander-Arnold/Alisson but Robertson wins out of the lot for me. He is more certain to start than TAA (still young and possibly rotated with Gomez/Milner), with a more attacking threat than Van Dijk or Alisson. He was the first defender ever to cross the 200-point mark, so surely he’s the man you pick now and leave until next summer.

Steer Clear

James Milner (MID, 5.5m)

He is the ultimate team player and had spot-kicks for a while, but like David Silva, his star is on the wane. He will have reduced minutes, occasionally being played OOP in defence and all of that adds up to an FPL player best avoided.
