Danny Rose is likely to start ahead of Ben Davies at left back.

If he does, he’ll be up against a certain Mo Salah.

In last year’s final, the Egyptian’s incredible season was ended prematurely with that shoulder injury, and he’ll be desperate to right that wrong.

Rose will need to be switched on for the entire 90 minutes. Everyone knows how dangerous Salah can be if he’s given time and space, so one mistake could be costly.

However, if Tottenham can counter the Liverpool press and get Rose forward, Salah is often quite reluctant to track back and Spurs could have joy down the left-hand side.
