We have as little as four days left before we witness the Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham in Madrid.

Edition 2: The Champions League Buildup – The Journey to Madrid

The journey to Madrid for these two clubs was no stroll to your botanical gardens on a Sunday morning. Instead, it was long, wet, treacherous, daunting, lonely, and nearly over before it began.

Yet, with guidance from the football gods, passionate generals, and astute personnel to carry out the generals’ orders, both teams came out of the turbulent waters they sailed in, in their quest for European glory.

The Reds of Merseyside and the Whites of North London meet for one last battle in the epic Champions League season of the comeback kings! Who deserves the crown and all the gold?

Tough call when recognising both teams’ runs and what they had to do to get here. Both Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino navigated their squads out of groups deserving of the tag “Group of Death”.
