Man City member rubbishes Pep Guardiola and Juventus links
It was only a matter of time before some board member from Man City came out to talk about the progressive rumours surrounding the manager and the prospect of taking up the vacant Juventus post.
Just yesterday, Pep Guardiola and Juventus broke the internet. This, following the news of long-serving boss, Massimiliano Allegri taking leave from the club. This has left Juve without a driver at the wheel ahead of the new Serie A campaign.
But being the powerhouse the Old Lady is, they have wasted no time in their search for Allegri’s successor. The Serie A champions have specifically been looking at the pair, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp.
Of the two Premier League bosses, Pep’s name has come up more times, linking him with a move away from Manchester. This has forced the City board member, Alberto Galassi to come out and defend the speculations publically.

Alberto Galassi spoke on the situation
"I want to clarify what has been reported in the last few days and confirm what Guardiola said last week during the press conference,He wants to stay at Manchester City. Besides, a club like Juventus would not have allowed such a news to come out like this. Man City could not have been left out without knowing and being advised. This rumour is unfounded. It is unbelievable that the media pursue these kind of rumours. This is ridiculous. Guardiola wants to stay.He is a great professional and he can’t believe his words are not listened to. He does not want to leave. Therefore, the problem does not exist because the whole matter does not exist. (via Sky Sports)"
Not buying it one bit!
If Jose Mourinho is not the favourite, who would be? Maurizio Sarri’s name has been thrown in the hat, with him wanted by two clubs in Italy.
Both AS Roma and Juventus are rumoured to have an interest in “Sarri Ball”. Though, his return to Italy will only be required if he’s sacked by London side, Chelsea.
The chances of Klopp leaving Anfield are much wilder than Pep leaving the Etihad. Pep being rumoured to accepting a four-year deal is the least of the Citizens’ worries.
Don’t see Pep waiting around hoping they found not guilty, and get a season ban from the Champions League.
A competition he so desperately wants to succeed in. Cutting nothing out in this treacherous transfer window period. Many things can take place between now and the start of the new campaign.
