Everyone knew this one would set the tele alight, but not one person thought Crystal Palace and Bournemouth were about to spoil all with an eight-goal event.

Crystal Palace 5-3 Bournemouth

This game started off and played out as if it was a cup final for Crystal Palace and Bournemouth. Roy’s home recorded matched with Howe’s away record said it all afore kickoff. Although, Palace was the best team from the first blow.

The front three of Michy Batshuayi, Andros Townsend, and Wilfried Zaha were uncontainable for the Bournemouth backline. Almost all of the trio besides Zaha added their name to the scoresheet. He was the engineer for the third goal, which was an own goal.

The Cherries answered back almost each time Palace scored. However, Palace asked too many questions in the finale, taking the game beyond the reach of Bournemouth. Not the best performance by the two clubs, yet, loads of excitement.

The best goal of the eight on the day was the screamer scored by Jefferson Lerma for Bournemouth’s first of the game.
