An ending fit for champions! Pep Guardiola makes history with Man City after retaining the title in consecutive campaigns.
All the drama, breathtaking moments and anxiousness of one of the sickest title races in the history of the Premier League age regrettably reached its expiry date. Man City, rightfully crowned the kings of England and are one cup away from their domestic treble.
Liverpool can only be admired for the fight they put up from the first whistle of the season to the final whistle. Sadly no one gets a trophy for being second best, and Klopp and his red army must wait another year before they bring Premier League glory to Anfield.
Sad to say, but the relegation battle was over far too soon. It was so bad for both Huddersfield and Fulham they both changed hands at the helm, however, executing the same appalling displays throughout the 38 matchdays. Fulham with their £100 million spending spree to guarantee relegation!

The synchronous kickoff of Matchday 38 was eventful as ever even though there was little to play for, for most teams. From Man City taking the championship to relegated Cardiff City embarrassing United at Old Trafford, (confirming Manchester is blue and will be for a long while) it was the perfect sendoff for these teams who entertained us with some of the best football, comebacks and cracking goals!
