If there’s one team that could mount a comeback, it’s Klopp’s Liverpool. If Man City’s narrow miss against Spurs is anything to go on, we in for one manic second leg.

One thing stood out the most, is that Barcelona had almost no control on home soil but made their best moments count. They’ve now set themselves up perfectly for the return leg at Anfield.

Problems before kickoff

It seems team selection was a headache for the Reds’ boss, Klopp. Unable to deploy Roberto Firmino was a massive blow for the visitors. Bringing him on late instead of having him start, might have been an error by the German.

The turning point

The next tragedy adding to the intense meeting was the early injury to Naby Keita. An intricate piece to Liverpool’s attack taken out in the early part of the first half. This created an even bigger hole up front, hampering Klopp’s plans for the rest of the 90 minutes left to play.

The impossible

This has given Liverpool too much to do come to the second leg. An early goal will set the Reds on their way at Anfield. It’s near impossible to achieve a 4-0 winning over the Spanish giants, but it’s not impossible. This first leg has set us up for what could be a mouthwatering Champions League Second Leg Semifinal.
