Since making the summer switch from Barcelona to Everton, Lucas Digne has seamlessly taken over for Leighton Baines on the left side of the Toffees’ defense.

This season, he has looked a lot like the Baines of old, marauding up and down the left while delivering wonderful set-pieces.

Digne is second on the team in assists with four, trailing only Gylfi Sigurdsson, and has proved more than capable of scoring from distance as well.

All four of his goals this season have come from outside the box, including two free kicks and a stunning volley that left David de Gea rooted to the spot against Manchester United last weekend.
