David Brooks has been one of the big success stories in the Premier League this season after his move up to the south coast team from the Championship this summer.

His technical, fast-paced style fits in perfectly with Eddie Howe’s set up, and Brooks has emerged as a very promising young English prospect. Deployed as a number 10 or out wide, he is a clever dribbler with a brilliant left foot and an eye for goal.

Brooks has been magnificent in his link-up play with Callum Wilson and the two, along with Ryan Fraser (who easily could have been selected here as well) formed quite a prolific front three. Despite missing the whole of February with an ankle injury, Brooks has logged seven goals and five assists in just in twenty-eight appearances.
