The PFA Premier League Team of the Year was released earlier in the week, with only three teams represented in the full XI.

The squad included six from Manchester City, four from Liverpool, and Paul Pogba of Manchester United. Here is The Top Flight’s Team of the Year with players from clubs outside the Top Six.

GK: Lukasz Fabianski – West Ham

The former Arsenal and Swansea shot-stopper has floated around the Premier League for a while now, often as a backup.

This season at age 34, he has been one of the most impressive keepers in the league. According to xG (Expected Goals) data from understat.com, Fabianski has helped the Hammers concede nearly eight goals less this season than they should have.

He tops the league with his 133 saves and has rescued West Ham on numerous occasions this campaign. Without him, the Hammers would be far worse off.
