The Gunners were excellent and efficient in their clash with a strong Napoli side. Unai Emery showcased he still got what it takes to go all the way in the Europa League.

Both North London clubs finish in the top three spots after giving their competitors no hope of heading into the next round of the tournament. Two clean sheets and three goals scored was a bit too much for Naples to overcome.

What stood out about this, the Italian side was one of the favourites in the cup. After getting knocked out by the Gunners, they now take the title of the team to beat. In the first leg held at the Emirates, they took the game to the visiting team.

In the return leg resilient was key, and that’s exactly what they were. They kept to the script and stopped Napoli even though they registered 20 shots at goal in their final fixtures. They ran riot over Arsenal but to no avail.

Gunners finish in third place.
