Three players the Reds Devils must sign in the summer
The talks surround the English club and this class defender has been endless. The only problem standing in their way, how bad it is to do business with Napoli.
Undoubtedly one of the best defenders in the world now. When you look at Kalidou Koulibaly, he takes shape as a futuristic version of Antonio Valencia. He will be the perfect replacement for the South American and would walk straight into the starting 11.
Koulibaly is so good he could play any position in the backline, therefore would become a major asset to Man United. He barely gets injured and offers a threat in every aspect of the game. Not getting injured alone should be enough to warrant him a transfer to one of the top clubs Europe. His lowest number of games played in the Serie A is 26, and that’s this season’s count.
The fee for the defender is the only hindering factor when considering a transfer. At the age of 27-year-old, soon to be 28, there could be a lot better out there in terms of longterm servants. However, like Varane being worth every pound, so is this man. He will come in and make an immediate impact at Old Trafford.
If you had a backline that included Koulibaly and Varane, it could be easier to score own goals, rather getting pass the two. United’s continuous links to the player have cooled down, but other business of contract renewals and so on have taken a front seat at United.
When it comes closer to the time to the window reopening, I feel United will go in for the Senegal international, afore any other transfers.
