It’s almost time for the summer transfer window to open and already deals are being placed in principles. One of the teams needing fresh feet on the pitch is Man United.

The Old Trafford side has many decisions to make before thinking about transfers. With the manager situation still up in the air and no word on whether Ole Gunnar SolskjĂŚr will get the job longterm, transfers seem to be the last of their worries.

The season is nine games away from having a champion, runner-up and three relegation side. What comes next is the all-important transfer window. Some teams are working behind the scene, making sure business can conclude early. It seems as if the best teams are the ones who have handled their business quicker than the rest in previous seasons.

This has been looked upon as the perfect start to preparations, as the clubs’ managers get to use their new names early in their preseason fixtures. The more time spent with the player, the better the chances are of that player getting a starting run in the first fixture.

Man United need to follow this trend as they fell into the incomplete section in the last transfer window. They struggled with their business in the offseason, which led to them missing out on their primary targets, together with accomplishing their worst start to a Premier League campaign.

Things of late have seen the Old Trafford side return to elite status, but this status was brought to an abrupt end when they got kicked out of the FA Cup by Wolves and lost to Arsenal in the top-four race in their most recent meetings.

When the heat cools regarding United’s manager campaign, business on transfers will be easier to determine. However, the transfer talks taking place and areas which needs attention makes the prediction almost easy to see where United will go picking.

These are the three players I believe United will work hard to acquire during the summer transfer window. This is taking the transfer talks, how these clubs’ financial situations allow for the transfers, and how badly the position needs new personnel.
