Bournemouth vs. Newcastle

I’m banking on this clash being the best of the day. Bournemouth comes with their potent attack returning to full strength and Newcastle is a team on the up since the turn of the year. The Toons five-game unbeaten run at home means nothing as their form on the road needs improvement.

Eddie Howe’s Cherries came up with their first three points last weekend, earning their first victory after going five without one. Rafa has seen a major turn around in players availability and form. Their great run has seen them collect 10 points from the last six, losing only twice, drawing once, and winning three of them.

One of that elations transpired on the road, so the force is strong with Rafa and his Newcastle side as they approach a tricky fixture at the Vitality Stadium. It will be hard for Bournemouth to penetrate Newcastle. They’ve only conceded six goals in their last six outings. Whereas the Cherries themselves have doubled that figure with 12 goals conceded.

This game has really shaped up to entertain later today. Dan Gosling and Adam Smith will be missing from the Cherries’ roster. Otherwise, their star-studded attack is fit and have already picked up points already. Newcastle’s Sean Longstaff, Rob Elliot and Jamaal Lascelles will not feature in this one. Only Ciaran Clark could feature after returning to the squad.
