English Premier League key talks for Saturday’s three fixtures
West Ham vs. Huddersfield
All the matches take place after lunch. West Ham needs to bounce back after they failed to beat a team fighting for survival. This week’s challenge a bit of a difference when they meet Huddersfield at home. They will want to do better than the last meeting between the two, after only managing a point shared against the worst team in the league.
The Hammers are unbeaten at home since the start of 2019. So they will be looking to build on their home form. However, they must do it without the services of Carlos Sánchez, Andriy Yarmolenko, Jack Wilshere and Andy Carrol, who are either on route to recovery or have just suffered from injury.
The Terriers luck has been worse than their hosts, with a long list of players out for the count. Tommy Smith returns from suspension and offers another option for Jan Siewert. Huddersfield has lost their last two games since their Wolves victory. The play with ease and can disrupt West Ham, who must win to avoid Leicester overjumping them.
