Man United comes in second place and that’s purely based on how the team in first place outclassed every other team in the Round of 16. And not just outclassed the English teams.

There wasn’t supposed to be four teams in the final eight, there was only meant to be three. However, Ole and his Red Devils weren’t having it. Two goals down and no world-class player to call on, but a chamber of youth who they could count on. This was all the Old Trafford side needed.

Three goals scored and one goal let in was the most remarkable comeback of the Champions League this term. A brace by an inform Romelu Lukaku, and a late penalty by English youngster, Marcus Rashford saw them book a spot in the Champions League octet.

Well deserved second place for Man United after a show fit for the history books of the Champions League.
