Champions League: Ranking the English Premier League teams after Flawless showing
The winners of the first leg’s Power Ranking, Tottenham drops all the way to fourth place in this week’s Champions League ranking.
A bit unfair to be placed last, seeing they floored their Champions League Round of 16 over the two legs. However, Spurs were the lowest scoring team in part two of the knockout stage. They managed to keep a clean sheet and score the only goal of the game when they met Dortmund in Germany.
Spurs didn’t have to go all the way to BVB and win by a major margin. All they had to do was hit BVB on the break and that’s what they did. The home side was the one doing most of the passing and shooting. Unfortunately for them, it was a lot jabbing with no final blow.
Tottenham Team Stats:
Results: 2W
Goals scored: 4 Goals
Goals conceded: 0 Goals
