The English Premier League Matchday 30 was exhilarating and made this week’s Top Flight Power Ranking a difficult debate in deciding on the best five Premier League clubs.

Only one game was evenly matched when Chelsea just about equalised in the final seconds of extra time. Luck? I think so! The highest scoring game was between Liverpool and Burnley, the fixture saw six goals.

Coming in second highest was the comeback of the weekend when Newcastle and Everton scored five between one another. Only three teams were able to keep clean sheets in a goal-ladened weekend. Those teams were Arsenal, Bournemouth and Cardiff City.

The weekend gave us some of the best comebacks this season. Man City and Liverpool also stretched the gap between them and the next team to 12 points. Because of all these underdog teams coming and taking all the points, this week’s Top Flight Power Ranking of the English Premier League has to go to the midtable stars.
