The battle for fourth was an entertaining one. Arsenal with all the doubt imposed on them took down a high-flying Man United side with ease.

Arsenal 2-0 Man United

It wasn’t about the dancing on the pitch this time around. It was more about the actual football and the fancy footwork with the ball at the feet. Most notably, Mesut Ozil. He outplayed most or every player on the field.

Paul Pogba was a shadow of himself as United failed to keep their unbeaten run in the Premier League under Ole Gunnar. It was the Gunners time to shine and rightfully so in the Emirates Stadium.

Goals by Granit Xhaka early in the first half and a penalty by suspected Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the second was all there was on the day. Arsenal reclaims fourth and sits hot on their North London neighbours Tottenham trail anticipating a third-place finish.

Man United has several games to put it right. Fourth and third place still well in worth their reach.
