Two London clubs take the highest ranks in Matchday 29’s Power Ranking, with West Ham coming first for another well-worked win over Newcastle.

It’s very simple why the Hammers sit in first, as they took down a Newcastle side firing on all and more cylinders compared to some of the other clubs in the league campaign. The Toons were on a four-game unbeaten run and was heading for their third straight win.

But West Ham wasn’t having it and put their stamp on the fight for a European finish. This was their third consecutive victory and their fifth game without suffering from defeat. That without contest deserves a spot at the top of The Top Flight’s Power Ranking.
