Palace versus Brighton is the fourth time that the sides have met in the Premier League.

Selhurst Park is one of the Premier Leagues smaller grounds, that doesn’t stop the noisy home supporters creating an intimidating atmosphere.

Hodgson’s side enjoyed a good 3-1 win at Burnley last weekend, rounding off a trio of away wins in all competitions. Zaha is the in-form player for Palace. The winger has scored four goals in four Premier League games.

Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is having a good season. The Daily Mail is reporting that England manager Gareth Southgate is considering calling up the 21-year-old for his first cap. England are loaded with talent at that position, it will be a remarkable achievement for Wan-Bissaka if he can break into the national side.

Brighton: The Seagulls have had 291 shots, scoring 30 goals, they’ve hit the woodwork four times. Brighton have picked up one point from their previous six away games in the league when they drew 2-2 at West Ham.

Palace Team News: Hodgson’s only absentee is Mamadou Sakho.

Brighton Team News: Influential German midfielder Pascal Gross has not recovered from a hamstring injury.

Andone came off the bench to score Brighton’s winner against Huddersfield. The Romanian is pushing for a start. Brighton’s Premier League run-in is challenging, Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester City are all to come, a duanting schedule for any team.

Brighton born defender Lewis Dunk spoke of the hostile atmosphere at Selhurst Park.
