It’s almost English Premier League time after an amazing showing in the Champions League by the big boys United. Turning our attention away from European football, what can we expect in the Premier League Gameweek 30 in Fantasy Football.

It was a dire week for FPL managers in GW29. Of the highest owned captains, Aguero, Salah and Sterling blanked, while Pogba missed a last-minute pen and got booked to push his score into negatives!

But, for well-informed managers who have planned ahead, good times are surely just around the corner. There’s just one gameweek left before the hectic schedule of blank and doubles leads us through to the final few weeks of the season. I hope you’ve got a decent strategy lined up.

This final week could cause some interesting dilemmas as well. Man City and Liverpool will both have one eye on their Champions League campaigns, which are far from certain outcomes (City bring a 3-2 lead back to the Etihad while Liverpool travels to Munich with just a goalless draw).

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Chelsea are in the middle of their round of 16 ties in the Europa League, which could be the best route into the Champions League for both sides.

It’s never easy at this time of year!
