Transfer News: Arsenal linked with summer move for Celtic Kieran Tierney
A needed transfer for the Gunners is this man linked with a possible move, Kieran Tierney. With Brendan Rodgers leaving the club, it could very well be on the cards.
Celtic has recently claimed the services of Neil Lennon as their new manager. His first job as a manager will be to fend off top European clubs for their golden crop. One player who stands out above the rest is Kieran Tierney.
The left-back has been linked many times before to Premier league clubs. His initial links to the English Premier League was him making a move to Arsenal’s North London rivals, Tottenham. The other was to Anfield, Merseyside. But nothing progressed and the player continued on in the Scottish Premiership.

Winning titles with Rodgers and not worrying about moving on. Tierney now has to think about his options after Rodgers moved across the lands. Does he stay and do the same thing, tackle the same people and take a 50/50 chance ride to the Champions League?
Or, does he move on and take on a new challenge with Brendan Rodgers or some other team?
He should move to Arsenal
Why I’ve mentioned Brendan Rodgers is cause he was always and will always be an admirer of the left-back. He has been promised a lump sum of cash for a fruitful transfer window, so we can be sure of him knocking on Tierney’s door.
Why do I feel he should rather move to the Emirates? Just because he will get a lot more joy under Unai Emery. Arsenal’s suffer from time-to-time with injuries to their full-backs. Right now, Hector Bellerin is out for the rest of the season and will probably miss part of the start to next season.
At the start of the season their experienced Spaniard, Nacho Monreal was out for a chunky length. Kieran will join a side that will be passed the first phase of building and could be fighting for silverware on all fronts next season.
So a move to Arsenal makes all the sense in the world.
