MANCHESTER UNITED WILL MAKE TOP 4 BECAUSE OF: The momentum that Solskjaer’s honeymoon period has brought:

It’s been a brilliant few months for Manchester United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as i’m sure you have heard and seen everywhere you turn. From a stale, negative side under Mourinho to an exciting side under the Norwegian. The likes of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford have been in delightful form since the turn of the year, and the fact that Solskjaer’s ‘honeymoon period’ has come at such a crucial time of the season, gives United a big advantage.

Arsenal and Chelsea went through their honeymoon periods under Emery and Sarri respectively very early in the season, and are both playing pretty inconsistent football. United on the other hand, are in full momentum and have looked unstoppable at times.

MANCHESTER UNITED WILL NOT MAKE TOP 4 BECAUSE OF: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tactical limitations:

Despite the hot start that Solskjaer has had at Old Trafford, it is very obvious that he isn’t as good a tactical manager as Unai Emery and Maurizio Sarri are. Despite the fact that the latter has never won a trophy in his managerial career, he has still had a more illustrious managerial venture than Solskjaer has. Many believe that it is actually Mike Phelan providing the tactical setups while Solskjaer handles the man-management, but even if this is the case, the Norwegians’ deficiencies paired with the ones of his squad are likely to show through eventually. Solskjaer nearly destroyed Cardiff City a few years back, and couldn’t win a single trophy in his second stint with Molde, which lasted a full 4 years. Although he has done a good job since coming in, he has not had the career to warrant being the manager of Manchester United, and that is bound to show sooner rather than later.
