It’s been one big rollercoaster ride for the Foxes this season. Many high moments, but extremely depressing and low ones as well.

A Premier League campaign that we witnessed one of the worst things in sporting history was when the late boss Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was laid to rest in peace.

Probably the lowest point in the league for all the clubs in England, while notably being the lowest point for Leicester and their city. The highs came in different forms, shapes and sizes. Transfers of quality were made during the summer and winter windows. The Foxes added character to their ranks. Players like James Maddison who proceeds to shine and now recently, Youri Tielemans.

This has not only displayed great ambitions but also helped lift the club in need of a lift. The next low came only a few days ago when ex-manager Claude Puel was relieved of his duties. It was a long time coming, and immediately after the sacking, Leicester already put points on the board.

Following a low point of a sacking, you always wish the inclusion to be somebody like Jurgen Klopp or Pep Guardiola to be the announcement, but that also depends on the status and magnitude of the club. So not always are we impressed with the designation.

How the appointment of Rodgers has been taken in?

A few mixed opinions and emotions for the Northern Irishman, Brendan Rodgers. I’m on the side of the fence where I believe it’s a great appointment for the club and they can expect great things from him. His Celtic days are nothing to compare to this, but he comes with Premier League experience and he brings Kolo Toure with him to help out.

Kolo is a Premier League gold medalist and formed part of the invincible Gunners squad, who went 49 games unbeaten. So I am well onboard things are going to come together for all the Foxes. His first game will be a great test to see how far Brendan Rodgers has come from his Liverpool and Swansea City days.

Leicester already took three points

If any team was unhappy about their new manager coming in, they would never put in a shift to get the manager’s attention. When Leicester entertained Brighton they had their few scares, but they were also a lot livelier during the 90 minutes.

Just his presence in the stand and coming into the stadium before the game commenced, uplifted the club from the low point they experienced not too long ago. It couldn’t get any worse than going six games without a win.
