Teams that deserve a shout out and just about missed The Top Flight’s top three list.

Man City – Their Matchday 27 fixture saw them beat Everton by two goals and no reply from the home side, plus closing the gap at the top of the table to one point. Besides this, the weekend brought Pep and his men their first trophy for the season. Also taking the first piece of silverware available to all the Premier League clubs this season. They trot on in their quest to take all four gold medals.

Newcastle – Doing it on a regular. It wasn’t the size of the win for Rafa and his men. It was the manner in which they did it in. The Toons were great on the day and barely put a foot wrong. A 2-0 victory over relegation fighters Huddersfield is a job well done and keeps them away further away from the bottom three.

Wolves look to maintain unbeaten run. dark. Next

West Ham – They make the third and final mention because of their character not to give up. The Hammers were the first team to suffer a goal but the last team to score a winner. It was all about West London as the Hammers assisted in keeping their neighbours in a relegation slot.
