Words can’t express the amount of happiness one feels with so much football happening. Blink once and you’ll miss some of the action taking place.
The weekend started off with much promise but failed in misery, unable to deliver more excitement after the stalemate between United and Liverpool. All the promotion but no show.
The English Premier League got off to a lightning start after the two games played on Friday night had 10 goals scored between them. Saturday didn’t disappoint with the upset of the weekend coming from the first kickoff of the day. It then went to King Power where all drama broke loose.
It led me to believe the Sunday list of fixtures would follow suit, assuming United and Liverpool gave us the paper viewing as promised. But those who predicted a draw, got it spot on and was not fooled by the media’s antics.
Quite the anticlimax after the reverse fixture entertained with a four-goal thriller. Well any rate, because of the points shared and most clubs doing the business on the pitch in basic fashion, it was quite easy to pick the best three teams from Matchday 27.
