English Premier League: Newcastle and Burnley in a relegation rumble

The Toons have an army of fearless players gearing up for this match. The importance of the match would have been emphasised to the players by Rafa before the match, making them know dropping points is not an option.

Over five Premier League games, Newcastle has only lost once. During that time they’ve dropped points on two occasions only. Their display over the weekend and their victory over Man City was their best of the season so far.

The home fans will be eagerly awaiting to see their new arrival take to the pitch for his second full debut. Miguel Almiron had a successful start to his life in the Premier League but must back it up with a follow-up performance at home tonight.

Rondon, the other top performer of the side goes into the game as the man involved in the most goals for Newcastle this season. He has scored seven and assisted another four. He has been key to the push by Newcastle.

Rafa is smiling when it comes to team selection. He has playmaker Jonjo Shelvey back but a start seems unlikely, with the team playing good football and him having just returned from injury. Goal.com reports two players are still missing from selection in, Ciaran Clark and Rob Elliot.

No changes expected to happen.
