Every week so far there’s been a team playing to avoid relegation in a straight on, head-to-head clash in the English Premier League. It’s safe to say… Nobody at the bottom of the table is safe from the plunge.

To be fair, these two are on a massive up and has actually installed a large excitement into the game after the two’s weekend results. Both teams come off the back of amazing victories in their journey to beat the fall and now must battle each other to push further away from the other challengers.

Both teams put two past their opponents while Newcastle bettered Burnley’s efforts by not conceding a goal on the day. However, the contrast in calibre between the two’s opponents is chalk and cheese.

Match details:

  • Venue – St. James Park
  • Kickoff – 8pm
  • Craig Pawson – Match official

Rafa will be happy it’s his side getting the double dosage of home fixtures, rather than Sean Dyche’s Clarets. Interesting to know what a stubborn Burnley will do on their travels against a new look Toon Army.

Previewing the two clubs.
