One point above the drop zone leaves little to no room for error for Cardiff City. The manager expects their visitors to be well rested and sharper than his men.

Unfortunately, Neil will undoubtedly be without the on-loan striker, Oumar Niasse. They play the player’s parent club, so he is ineligible to play. Kenneth Zohore will most likely lead the attack for the home crowd.

City has taken three knocks in their last five outings. They’ve taken on an inconsistent run of recent but hey, it’s better than being consistently poor. A win is vital to Bluebirds safety. If all goes their way, they could be four points aloft from the closest relegation spot owned by Southampton at the moment.

A stat that counts heavily against the home side, they are the worst conceding team at home, in the English Top Flight. Sadly, what doesn’t help them in their hunt for points, Victor Camarasa is still an injury doubt. Doesn’t help if your best is out injured.

Predicted Cardiff City lineup:
Etheridge; Ecuele Manga, Morrison, Bamba, Bennett; Hoilett, Gunnarsson, Arter, Paterson; Reid, Zohore
