A game that would normally be hard to tell off the bat would be a Man City and Chelsea final. However, after a recent meeting between the two, the idea of Sarri’s men winning the clash is kinda hard to imagine.

Two powerhouses from The Top Flight assembles for the finals of the Carabao Cup later today. Man City making it a formality to come this far in this cup. While Chelsea, one of the most successful English top-flight clubs in the last decade making it a habit to be successful in their domestic cup campaigns.

The Carabao champs walked an easy path to the final stage of the cup when they went through on a 10-goal aggregate. Their counterpart and rivals overcame a measuring trial in a London semi and came back from behind to win on penalties against Mauricio’s Spurs.

Match details:

  • Wembley Stadium
  • A kick-off time of 4.30pm GMT
  • Referee Jon Moss – Match Official

Pointless really talking how they got here knowing they must win to progress. The one thing that can be mentioned for Chelsea, they took out some of the best on route to the final. The very first elimination was handed to Premier League contenders, Liverpool and the very last was before the final was Tottenham.

What I’m waiting to know and can’t wait to find out, what Chelsea squad will show up and what team will take the field? The final dispute takes place at Spurs’ makeshift home ground “White Hart Wembley”. It will be played after the oldest rivalry in the game, Man United versus Liverpool.
