All eyes on Cardiff as they find a late surge of quality in their gameplay. Their last outing saw them knock Southampton down a spot and overjump them in the process.

This Watford test will determine if they have switched things around and are able to stay in the slot above the relegation three. The manager looks in good spirit despite the sadness that looms over the Bluebirds’ dressing room. He spoke highly of today’s opposition and believes Watford is the best team outside of the top six.

This could be true. However, in my books Wolves has seen a marvellous season back in the Premier League under Nuno Santo. They unmistakably deserve the 7th place opening over Watford.

Now back to Cardiff

Neil Warnock’s men enjoyed back-to-back wins in the premier league before the FA Cup break. They on route to make it three in as many, this after suffering two defeats in consecutive weeks.

The home side has only Sean Morrison missing from the match and Victor Camarasa as the only doubt for tonight. Neil is hoping for a late show in hopes Camarasa turns up fit and ready to go against the Hornets.

Premier League stats: P26; W7; D4; L15

Predicted lineup:

Etheridge; Paterson, Peltier, Ecuele Manga, Bamba, Bennett; Gunnarsson, Ralls, Arter; Reid, Niasse – (Maybe a late inclusion of Victor Camarasa)
