It isn’t the deficit many expected when the North London side rocked up with a no-show and left Barysaw, Belarus a goal down.

Unai’s men go into this one as strong favourites, despite the scoreline. The Gunners have only failed to win on three incidents in the last 10 games across all competitions. This hands all the Gunner fans an extra lift after being named the laughing-stock of Europe last week.

Although, this defeat was handed to Arsenal in Barysaw. Whereas last season Arsenal gave BATE a six-goal mauling at the Emirates, so all is far from lost for the English club.

Their record at the Emirates Stadium in the last 10 fixtures

  • Seven wins
  • One draw
  • Two losses

What everybody’s waiting to see is if Unai will again leave Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil out of the squad for tonight’s matchup. The North Londoners are getting ready for life without Aaron, so I doubt he would feature. However, if Unai wants the win, the Ramsey must be included. Ozil is another story altogether.

Unai will be another man short after Alexandre Lacazette received a straight red card in the return leg. This will allow for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to step in and lead the line for them. Always a good swap, but they desperately need both their hit men.

Hoping and predicting a Denis Suarez start in this one.

Predicted Gunners coming out for Arsenal

Cech, Lichtsteiner, Mustafi, Koscielny, Kolasinac, Guendouzi, Xhaka; Suarez, Ramsey, Aubameyang, Iwobi.
