The Man City owners are on a major takeover worldwide. Forget a new world order when there’s already a new Man City football order.

While Pep Guardiola evolves the game on the pitch, the owner reinvents the business end of Man City at the same time. As the saying goes, “If you can’t beat them, join them!”. Well, in this case, it goes a little different, “If you want them, buy them!”.

That’s literally what Sheikh Mansour has been doing around the world. He has been buying clubs all over the globe, making one really big happy family. Afore the announcement of the Chinese takeover, there were six other clubs from six other countries who the prime minister of the United Arab Emirates conquered in the Man City football order.

Ranging from the shores of Australia to the apple of New York City, the Sheikh has put his Emirati royalty stamp on it. Will this be the last? Not at all, there’s many cities, countries, and oceans he must travel to and subdue.

The latest takeover

Sky Sports reports that Man City has joined in partnership with a few others of the new team. The new club under the umbrella of City Football Group (CFG), China Sports Capital, China Media Capital, and UBTECH is Sichuan Jiuniu.

Sichuan Jiuniu is a China League Two side based in a small town called Sichuan, China. They will be aiming for big things after the new deal and can rest assured they will receive all the backing their need, financially.

The deal makes all the scene in the world. Firstly, all those Chinese people will now start supporting the Citizens, making the brand a worldwide one Then there’s the Chinese top-tier. They have been making crazy signings over the past few years, breaking the transfer records and offering gigantic wages to some of the world’s best, who are way past their prime.

This has lucrative business written all over it. Did you ask why now?

Man City transfers Sergio Aguero at age 35 to Sichuan Jiuniu for an undisclosed figure! (Please bear in mind this is just a scenario explaining what could be)

In four to five years time City could part ways with Sergio Aguero and most likely will. He will need a new team. What if in this time Sichuan Jiuniu gets a promotion? If he leaves there, he’d still be under the payroll of City Football Group. And they will pay him big bucks!

Therefore, this means, Sheikh Mansour will pay the money for Aguero and receive it back from Man City. All while they still pay Aguero his salary. So basically he is paying himself for a new player.

Almost like the kid who buys all the streets in the board game Monopoly and Sheikh Mansour is that kid.
