Chelsea

All is not well in South West London. Chelsea suffered successive heavy league defeats away from home, a situation that has set off the alarm bells. The Blues could be on the brink of making another change in the dugout.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Maurizio Sarri is on the brink of getting the sack. A win on Monday night may not be enough to secure his future at the club. One Chelsea legend still has the bug for the FA Cup. Gianfranco Zola gave his thoughts on Monday night’s game.

"I understand that the Premier League, the Champions League, they represent a lot for the club, for the players, but I am one of those that I keep believing that this is a great competition. It is one of the best I played in and I really hope that it will still be considered so by everyone. via Chelseafc.com"

Chelsea breezed past Steve Bruce’s Sheffield Wednesday in round four. It was Wednesday’s first visit to Stamford Bridge. The 6,000 travelling Wednesdayites were spared any embarrassment as Chelsea strolled around the park to win 3-0, with a brace from Willian on the day.

Team news: Ruben Loftus-Cheek is trying to shake off a back problem. He, along with Marcos Alonso could return to the Chelsea starting XI.
