Forward: Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) – It must have felt good for Raheem Sterling to come back to Stamford Bridge, where he was reportedly racially abused last season, and have his fingerprints all over the 6-0 demolition of the Blues. Sterling’s movement and decision-making in the final third have improved exponentially under Guardiola, and he added two goals to his tally over the weekend.

Forward: Anthony Martial (Manchester United) – Oh, how times have changed for Anthony Martial. Often exiled under José Mourinho, the French international has enjoyed a revival under new manager Solksjaer and scored one of the goals of the season against Fulham. It was classic Martial, dribbling in from the left and just freezing defenders before unleashing a finish into the back of the net. As it did with Pogba, Solksjaer’s strategy to play Martial worked perfectly, as he logged a goal and assist before being hauled off. United fans will be hoping he can carry this form into their Champions League tie against PSG.

Forward: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) – There wasn’t really any doubt about this one was there? Two hat-tricks in a row and Aguero has equalled Alan Shearer’s mark of 11 in the Premier League. Always the big game player, the Argentinian turned up once again in a game against the top six. The second goal against Chelsea was vintage Kun, a beautiful curler from outside the box that nestled right into the top corner. Aguero has catapulted to the top of the scoring table, and if he continues in this vein, could lead City to the title as well.
