Like Tottenham, Liverpool had big swells to sail through in Group C. Filled with some of the favourites for the tournament, these two groups went down to the wire.

Klopp’s men gave the impression, it was all or nothing. What gave the impression is the three wins and three losses, with no draws coming from their fixtures. The Reds edge Spurs as they collected one point more and got one extra win over Spurs. The weakest aspect of Liverpool’s game was their defence.

Boasting 14 clean sheets in the English Premier League but conceded 7 in the group stages alone was concerning for Klopp. Other than that, they pulled off a crucial triumph against one of the Champions League favourites, PSG and evicted, Napoli.

Their next comes next week on Tuesday against Bayern Munich. Hard one to judge with Munich the quieter of the big hurts in the Champions League this term.
