It’s a do or die, make or break, take all and leave nothing type of situation, as we reach the home stretch of the English Premier League.

A broken Liverpool encounters an ill Bournemouth side at Anfield today. Both teams approach the game with different news. For one, some uplifting news. The other, some changes to be made before the game kicks off.

Klopp’s men play the match for the reward of three points they must take in order to go back to the peak of the Premier League table. Equal on points, but a position behind their title-challengers, Man City on goal difference.

Eddie Howe sends his men in for a historical victory over the Reds, a foot he must reach in their quest to move up the table. With an important matchup between Watford and Everton taking place on the other side of England, they can benefit from an Everton favour. Yet, a point shared works extremely well in their favour.

Liverpool’s luck today

The Anfield side will walk onto the pitch with a lift after some key parts and important figures returned to full training this week.  Trent Alexander-Arnold, Georginio Wijnaldum, along with Jordan Henderson were all involved in training midweek, and are likely to feature today.

All three men were missing in their West Ham draw last week Monday and were heavily missed. Klopp spoke out and gave the players the advice, “they must enjoy the title race!”. This is wise words, as you can’t escape the pressures of fighting for a title.

Liverpool’s still expected to take all the points today, even with them on low and a run of bad games. They haven’t lost a game since their Man City defeat, but draws for teams such as the Reds and City are not common, and considered as a loss or a brilliant result for their opponents.

Bournemouth must try their luck

The Cherries miss two players from their fantastic attacking lineup. Callum Wilson and David Brooks are both out and will be missing from the squad beyond this weekend’s Anfield clash.

Howe has a chance to send Dominic Solanke in to spearhead his attack. A familiar face who has recently made the switch over to the Vitality Stadium from Anfield. He will want to prove a mistake was made by the Reds to not give him the chance, and the manager will be hoping he makes the name for himself.

Bournemouth faces a late problem with the fitness of midfielder, Jefferson Lerma. Another pivotal player that could miss the match today. The Cherries have not won a game in their last four games. This is not a good stat before heading to Anfield.
