Take in all the action you can this weekend before hitting the regrettable weekend of NO Premier League action. Nevertheless, the weekend promises drama in the title chase and the relegation brawl – so let’s see what’s installed.

Big matches coming at us this weekend, with Sunday harbouring the fixture of the weekend between new leaders, Man City and Chelsea. But talking things Saturday rather and considering what’s the best to look out for (because the Premier League never disappoints) we have many talking points.

In the push for the Premier League crown, Liverpool leads the way on Matchday 26, playing first of the three teams in the hunt. After the failure to secure better results by both, City and Liverpool, the London club (Tottenham) join in on the race. Bournemouth will have a testing time, even though the Reds show the pressures on them. The Cherries have a host of key players out, sadly.

Three of the top-six plays the Saturday and the rest the day thereafter. Man United takes charge in their Champions League push when they play the first of the weekend. Poor Fulham, on route to what we can predict to be another defeat.

Saturday Matchday 26 schedule

Fulham vs. Man United
Watford vs. Everton
Huddersfield vs. Arsenal
Southampton vs. Cardiff City
Crystal Palace vs. West Ham
Liverpool vs. Bournemouth
Brighton vs. Burnley

The competition to beat the fall features most of the characters involved. Southampton entertains Cardiff City in a straight duel. The Saints go into the clash as heavy favourites, but Cardiff came out with a bang last week.

They will be playing in memory of Emiliano Sala on the day, after the reports were released it was the Argentine’s body that was recovered from the plane wreck. Thankfully, he can now finally rest in peace and the family has closure every family deserves in times like these.

Huddersfield, like Fulham, has their work cut out for them. They go up against Arsenal, who want to get back to winning ways after a miserable defeat to Man City last weekend. Crystal Palace and West Ham play in another London dispute. Both teams have shown a sharper edge to their game, giving this the nod for the best match of Saturday.

Saturday Matchday 26 predictions

Fulham 0-3 Man United
Watford 2-1 Everton
Huddersfield 0-4 Arsenal
Southampton 2-2 Cardiff City
Crystal Palace 2-2 West Ham
Liverpool 3-0 Bournemouth
Brighton 0-2 Burnley

But the challenge for the match of the day is the last of the day, as well. Struggling Brighton takes on resuscitated, Burnley. Dyche will be hoping for more than a point in this one and meet Chris Hughton’s men at the right time to push for all the points.

Everton’s disappointment gives Watford all the confidence at Vicarage Road to take it all. Would have been a heavy highlight, but could see many goals, but on one side of the pitch. If Everton performs anywhere near Wednesday night’s Man City hurt, they could steal the show.
