West Ham: Marko Arnautovic’s injury forces new signings or continue lose
West Ham is in a sticky situation once again, as the season has worn on for them with so much misfortune so has their luck with Marko Arnautovic.
West Ham has been one of the most inconsistent teams in the English Premier League. They’ve only managed nine wins, four draws, and eleven wins for the season. That to me sounds like a team all over the show, struggling to find their rhythm.
One of Manuel Pellegrini’s biggest problems has been missing Marko Arnautovic for large parts of the season. Having a sporadic campaign led to the manager looking for an adequate backup to the player who he has shifted to the man driving the attacking line.
There has been some light at the end of the dark tunnel
The only outlet that’s been a breath of fresh air to watch and the only thing consistent besides Lukasz Fabianski, has been Felipe Anderson. Nonetheless, it’s just a bit too much for the Brazilian to handle in his maiden English Premier League campaign.
We all know, Javier Hernandez, Andy Carroll and co are too suspended with their form. Hot and cold, injured and sometimes fit. Not what they need when they suppose to be pushing for European honours. Panick buys before tonight, or loan moves till the season concludes?

Loan spells and longterm deals. They are in need of some better players in certain positions. I am still one who believes Arnautovic’s best performances come while running down the wing. Another striker with world-class potential and they will be banging in goals.
In defence, it just hasn’t been working for the manager. The Hammers have conceded 37 goals this term, the most from 10th to 16th place in the English Premier League table. Noble is quality, but age is catching up and West Ham’s midfield gets bullied more often than not.
So a player is more than needed to come in for the Hammers to fill in the gap left by injured Arnautovic. Exciting to see names like Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud being linked with West Ham.
As reported, if they are to secure the signing one of these two aforementioned, they will have to offload Hammers, Lucas Perez and Javier Hernandez. Or, either of the two.
Some good news for the West Londoners
The injured forward will not face a prolonged time on the sideline expected at first. Nothing broke so West Ham just faces a short spell trying to get it right in the last 14 games left but as mentioned before, they are in need of quality in front of goal.
